Ducks Ducks Everywhere

Look at all these ducks.  I missed out on seeing these, but the girls and their daddy had fun feeding them.

Snow!

This year has been a interesting one so far.  It's December 19 and we haven't had hardly any snow.  This is as much as we've had all winter long.  Most of what snow was in the picture is now melted.  My girls were disappointed they couldn't go sledding.

Weekly Wrap-Up December 10-14, 2012

This week was kind of random.  A few various Christmas projects, some reading lessons, and a few math lessons.  We make snow flakes to decorate our windows, painted with Christmas cookie cutters, and made crazy Hello Kitty cake pops.  Fluttershy passed off another I See Sam book and learned to read three consonant beginning blends SCR, STR, SPL, and SPR.

The Clock

Slow and Steady Get Me Ready

Lesson Age 4 – Week 45

This activity introduces telling time to the hour on both digital and analog clocks.  We were able to skip making our own clock like the lesson included because we had our own time telling clock that shows both ways to tell time.  We played around for a while changing the clock to different hours of the day.  Our clock is pretty self teaching telling the time everything Fluttershy moves the hands.
