Rainbow Ice Designs

Rainbow Ice DesignsWe actually made this for our FIAR science project, but I wanted to expand on what we did since it looked really neat when we had finished.

  1. Freeze a block of ice.

  2. Sprinkle salt on top and let it start to let it melt.

  3. Take watered down water colors and pour into fun patterns on the melting ice.

  4. Let it sit. The longer it does the neater the ice starts to look.
