Colors and Capillary Action

Colors and capillary action

I am really impressed by today's science experiments with colors.  I can't speak highly enough of the wonderful site http://allforkids.tv/.  Their experiments are great.  The experiments today showed in a fun and creative way how colors can move with capillary action from once place to the other.  Now my 4 year old can tell you with certainty that blue and yellow make green.  Fluttershy was very excited when the colors started to flow together creating green.  1st we made a color rainbow, 2nd we moved water from one cup to the other, and 3rd we mixed colors.  Activities like these is what make science so fun and memorable.
