my daughter made this at school - it lasted awhile in the ziplock baggie.
ReplyDeleteWe did the experiment at home - so cool isn't it!
I'm glad to hear it keeps. I wasn't sure. We've pulled it out and played with it again and it was still fine.

This is the fun experiment that is on my list. Looks like the girls had fun with it. Thanks for sharing with Afterschool!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! We did the Ivory soap in the microwave trick last week. We didn't mix it with toilet paper just played with the puffed up soap. My girls played with it like snow in the bathtub and afterwards we found out that it made the best bubble bath ever!
ReplyDeleteVery cool. I'll have to try the bubble bath idea.
ReplyDeleteSuper cool. Can't wait to try it out! New follower from Voiceboks.
ReplyDeleteWay cool! I wanna touch it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining FLock Together this week!
Another winner! I can't wait to watch the soap puff up. My 3-year-old will LOVE it.
ReplyDeleteUncle Taylor did the Ivory Soap in the microwave trick for my kids about a year ago, they loved it. He then took the soap crumbs and put them in a condiment jar (the clear ones that they sell for arts and crafts or for ketchup and mustard), added a little bit of water, and some food coloring. Each of the kids then got their own soap container with Uncle Taylor Soap in it to use for baths or hand washing.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! We're gonna try this! I have Ivory soap. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteCan't believe it does that! I would be facinated by that too and standing right in front of the microwave to watch. lol. Thanks for sharing
