Cloud Sand

 Cloud Sand
Soft and Smooth and great for making a castle.

 All you need is:
8 cups Flour
1 cup baby oil

Instructions:
Add Flour and baby oil.  Mix and knead for 3-5 minutes.
Mixture will be ready when it will hold together when you squeeze it.
Feels like flour when you run your fingers through it, but it will hold shape when you squeeze it.

Fluttershy and Rarity were enthralled.  Thoroughly enjoying the messy play.  Found this gem in the USU Extension recipe book.

  5. Ooh, love this idea - totally pinning it! I tried moonsand but didn't have the right kind of sand so it didn't really hold - but I always have flour! Thanks for the tip.

Fun idea! I see cloud dough making rounds in the blogosphere, but with just one child it's a bit too messy for me to try. Perhaps a playdate is in order :)

  23. We just tried moon sand and it was not my most favorite thing to play with. Does the cloud sand get everywhere like moon sand? Looks like fun, but messy! (stopping by from the Afterschool Hop)

  25. It is messy, but we're into that kind of play. Though I would suggest playing with it outside if you can. Too bad it's winter right now. I just love how smooth the texture is.
