Light Table

Sensory play:

 Colored Epson salt

Supplies:
Bowl (just to look cool)
Epson salt
Food coloring
Zip lock baggies
We used Neon food coloring for the fun colors it makes.
Pour salt into baggies and add 10 or so drops of food coloring and shake, shake, shake.

We made this light table for added fun.  Here is where I got the light table idea from:  Light table.

The light table is so much fun.  We'll be using this for many of the sensory activities in the future.

My girls loved this activity. The sensory play has been a fun new thing that I have added into the preschool play and lessons that we'll be doing every week.  After we were done playing and had washed our hands I found that it made our hands really soft.
An added bonus to our fun today.
