Alphabet Exercise

Alphabet Exercise GameAs a fun way to review the alphabet and get your little ones up and moving, let me introduce you to our new game of Alphabet ExerciseThe concept is very simple yet effective.

  1. Create 26 cards each with a letter of the alphabet and something that has an action ie. Mm - March in place.

  2. Place your cards in a bag.

  3. Let your kids take turns pulling out a card and doing what the card says.

Let your kids have fun coming up with their own actions for the cards.  You'll be surprised at what they come up.  May not be what you would have, but that just means they think differently than you.  If they can't come up with something you can help them out. This activity will sure to get your kiddos up and moving. If you have a hard time coming up with your own ideas, you can see what each of our letters were on each picture.  Have lots of fun and be creative!

  2. My 4 year old daughter will LOVE this. She's working on her letters in preschool and this will be lots of fun for her to practice the letters she knows and a great way to learn the letters she still needs to. I'm going to do with with her tonight and see what kinds of actions she comes up with, I'm sure they'll be great. I'll be sure to take pictures and post them so you can see. Thanks for sharing a great way to practice the alphabet and get moving.
