Easy oozing homemade paint
Today we made our own paint from a recipe we got from
Mix the flour and the cold water till it's smooth. Add dish soap. Divide into 3 or 4 bowls and food coloring. Mix well and have fun.
Recipe:
* 1 cup of flour
* 1 cup of cold water
* 1 cup of dish soap (clear if you have it)
* Food coloring

We first started out using paint brushes. This paint is very unique. It's really gooey. I almost had them finger paint with it until we found another way to use it. The texture is great. Unlike any paint we've used or made before.
Next we tried something new. Given the unusual texture of the paint we tried making a different kind of art.
First tape a piece of construction or card stock paper on a cookie sheet. Next put several globs of paint toward the top of the paper.
Tilt the cookie sheet vertically so the paint oozes and flows downward. After a few minutes or less turn the pan so the paint flows a different direction.
We continued to rotate the pan till the paint covered the page.
Here is the results of our weird, but fun art project. Now just let dry on a flat surface.
What a fun paint! I love how it oozes down the sheet. I'll have to give this one a try!
