Stain Glass Hearts

 How to make:
Valentines stain glass hearts
You'll need:
Clear Elmer's glue
Glitter
Hear cookie cutter
Food coloring
Tooth pick
Wax paper

Lay a sheet of wax paper on a piece of cardboard and place the cookie cutter on it.
Squeeze the glue into the cookie cutter till it's about 1/8"-1/4" thick.
Sprinkle glitter and drop a few red food coloring drops
in.
Using a tooth pick create swirls of coloring around the glue.
Now leave it in a window or another warm location for 2-3 days to dry.
Punch a hole for a ribbon and hang in a window.

These are so cute. I can't wait to show them to Lauren, and I'm sure she'll insist on making some.

  3. Thanks Jenn, They are easy to do. I had one leak a little under the cookie cutter. I just used scissors to trip it up.

  14. The first time we tried this, the glue leaked all over even though we were working on a flat surface. The second time, I glued the cookie cutters to the wax paper first and let that dry. Then, we put the glue in the middle and did the glitter and the food coloring. That worked like a charm!
