What will happen with the glitter?

 Today we tried our first experiment.  

What will happen to the glitter?  

What you need is:

4 clear bottles with lids

Hair Gel

Karo Syrup

Clear Shampoo

Water

Glitter

 Fill each container.  

One with water, Gel, Shampoo, and Karo.

Add a little glitter to each bottle.

Close the lid tight and shake it up to disperse the glitter.

 What will Happen?

Rarity above and below.  First distraught because her 

stack kept falling.  After when she mastered her task.

 Besides having so much fun shaking the bottles, we found that 

in the water bottle the glitter swirled around like a snow globe and 

eventually settled at the bottom.

 The Karo was our favorite.  It dispersed well and was fun to watch

ooze around the bottle as we would tip it.  After a while it seemed that the glitter

was staying in it's place.

 The glitter in the shampoo mixed easily with the kids shaking it and 

after sitting for a bit of time will sink to the bottom.

The hair Gel was just gloopy and the glitter never moved after I got it mixed well.
