Read Words-
Letters (and rhymes) - C, G, O
C - curve around
G - curve and a dash
O - big curve and close

Start by creating the characters using play dough snake
Posters letter(s) –
C- Paste cupcake stickers on Letter C (an alternate is C for Crayons)
G- Use glitter glue or spread glue over the letters and sprinkle with glitter.
O- Paint or color with the color orange.
Math - Opposites - Liquid & Solids (make object lesson)
- Water and ice
- While making meals, have your child assist and discuss the liquids and solids that go into recipes.

Celery Science - Cut celery so the veins are open & cups of water with food coloring added; place the celery stalk into the water. Check daily to see if the celery is drinking up the water and the veins are becoming that color.
Writing Skills- Balllon Vertical lines worksheet

Play- Play Go Fish - use various numbers or letters

Information- Dial 911
- Children need to know how to get a hold of the police department, fire department, and hospital in case of an emergency. Now that the child can recite their phone number and address, the child is ready to practice this. Have the child dial a play phone and tell the "dispatcher" their names, the emergency, and the address of their home. This is also the time to discuss what denotes an emergency and that 911 is never to be called for any other reason that a true emergency.
- This is a good time to have a practice fire drill with your family. Discuss a meeting place outside the home.
