1st tape up a fun design with masking tape
2nd Paint away
3rd remove tape
See the neat design you make.
Fun mixing the paints together. What colors will they make? This time a weird purple.
This is the first time they've been able to play with the chalk board that Grandpa gave them for their birthday's. I finally went and got chalk.
Each of these flap books has the meaning behind each Christmas symbol.
I used packaging tape to laminate them so that they could stay intact after my kids get done playing with them. That way we can play with them next Christmas.
I used different definitions of each symbol then she did on her's. I just googled Christmas symbols meaning. I liked the ones I used better. They were more clear.

I totally forgot about masking tape painting - so much fun!!! I'll have to remember that for this week. I usually do hidden pictures for crayon rubbings. :) I love the lapbook - so cute! Thanks for stopping by my site.

That looks like it would a lot of fun for my Littles and Middles! It also looks like a great way to let them experiment with colors and art mediums. :) Thank you for the idea.
