Homeschool Room
Our homeschool room is actually a homeschool corner. Since our apartment only has 2 bedrooms we’ll be keeping our desks and books in the back half of our family room. I’m quite pleased though to have our only little area to center our learning around.
We picked up some old school desks at a second hand store. I let Fluttershy and Rarity pick out the colors they each wanted. Rarity didn’t really need a desk, but she really wanted one like Fluttershy. I think they turned out nice and will be a great place to keep their crayons and pencils.
Daniel made this neat cabinet to hold our workboxes. They look so nice. We are excited to try out workboxes. Everyday Fluttershy will get to work through her boxes for the day. Each box has a label and when she is done with the box, she get to put the label on the completed sheet.
We have a calendar, weather, and days of the week station that Fluttershy gets to fill out each day. In addition to these we have an easel to draw and paint in the corner, a white board, and our science experiments will be done in the kitchen. One day I hope to have a room to keep all our supplies together, but this year what we have will be great for Kindergarten.
