Drip Art
This activity was so much fun to do and yet so simple to make. We used the Crayola washable paints and watered it down a bit. Using a syringe, we placed drops of paint on a paper and held it up as we rotated it. At first I tapped the paper the the cookie sheet. Later we just used out hands to hold the paper as we rotated it.
At age 4 Fluttershy was able to make her own with very little help from me.
The neat thing about these are everyone turns out different. We kept on making more till Rarity had had enough so we directed our attention at another activity. We'll definitely be trying this one again. It's rare to find a art activity the Fluttershy really enjoys. She's not much into coloring, or markers. She enjoys finger painting but not very many other art activities. She really seemed to take to this activity though.
Neat idea! Will have to give that a try sometime.
