Lunar Eclipse

 Night photos
There should have been some blood moon pictures in here, but sadly my lens doesn't have adequate zoom to take a decent picture.  These are just some random picture playing around taking pictures in a very dark setting. With the exception of the bright moon picture the rest was taken after the moon was in total eclipse and everything was in total darkness.

Before the eclipse started, the moon seemed extra bright tonight with a glowing ring around it. I still need more practice with bright shots.
This tree was completely dark and I had to go off of a guess for the focus becuase the auto focus couldn't find anything to focus on.  It was surprising how well everything showed up.  It almost looks like there was a flood light on.  But with the shutter speed set on 30 seconds, it's amazing how much light the lens was able to pick up.
Who knew that the camera could picture up so many more stars than we can see.  This is a picture of a, upside down big dipper, but because the camera picked up so many other stars, it's hard to even pick out the big dipper from the millions of other stars. I definitely couldn't see that many starts with my eyes when I took the picture.
