Week 4 K
Math: Another fun week in math. This week Fluttershy worked on writing 2,3, and 7’s, identifying sides and angles in squares, and circles, pictures graphing, identifying the most and the fewest on the graph, and left and right directions. Sound like a lot, but the lessons were simple and fun for her. We used linking cubes, pencils, and buttons to help her learn. We also played a bit with c-rods.
Writing: Letter Ii and the number 2.
Science: Topic: weather. Main idea: weather changes with the seasons. This week the girls learned a fun song on seasons. We kept a graph all week and wrote down the temperature and the weather every day. While we were in Bear lake this weekend, we also too notice of the leaves that were turning red for fall.
Fun box 1: Play do
Fun box 2: Puzzle
Fun box 3: Geo board
Fun box 4: Puzzle
Audio Story: Hansel and Gretel
Cooking: Green SpaghettiArt: Glue lines. The girls demonstrated how many lines they knew with colored elmers glue. We had the elmers glue in squeeze bottle which they squeezed onto cardboard squares. The glue ended up a little more liquid than it was supposed to, so it actually oozed together and made another neat piece of art.
