Reviewing the long A Vowel Pairs

6Reviewing the long A Vowel Pairs

Our fun activity for reading today was a fun scavenger hunt where Fluttershy got to be creative.  I would read her a sentence and leave out a word for her to read which completed the sentence.  Then she got to take her word and stick it to where she thought it should go.  Her answers went as followed.

Put this card on:

  • the place where you bake (oven)

  • something that shakes (my hand)

  • something you have made (her bed)

  • the place where you sit at dinner (her chair)

  • a game (Cooties)

  • your waist (her waist)

  • a plain piece of paper (printer paper)

  • the rail by the steps (the hand rail)

  • my thumb nail (mommies nail)

  • a toy train (the wood train)

  • over your brain (on her forehead)

  • the calendar at the month of May (on our daily chart)

  • at your favorite place to play (the back door where she was looking at the play things)
